Lab data
Guava potency: THC, CBD and terpenes from only 92 lab tests
In only 92 state lab tests, a small sample, Guava flower had a median total THC of 23.52%, with the middle half of results between 21.32% and 25.73%.1 Results labelled Guava IX, which Leafly lists as a separate Stardawg × Guava cross, are excluded as another strain: 472 of them, the largest group of near-miss names.1,2 CBD is negligible, and only 20 tests report individual terpenes, led by β-caryophyllene.1
Small sample: only 92 matched tests. Treat the figures on this page as indicative, not definitive.1

How published THC figures compare
Strain databases publish a single figure or a range for Guava: Leafly lists 21%, AllBud 22% and Weedmaps 21–27%, and Flavour Chasers puts its seed version at about 21%.3,4,5,6 For the related names, Leafly lists 23% for Stardawg Guava and 22% for Guava IX, and Weedmaps 23.5% for Stardawg Guava.2,7,8 In these 92 tests (a small sample), half of Guava flower tested above 23.52%, one in ten below 18.53% and one in ten above 26.73%; the highest single result was 36.01%.1
Results labelled Guava IX are not part of these numbers. Leafly lists Guava IX as a separate Stardawg × Guava cross, so our matching counts it as another strain, and with 472 results it is the largest group of near-miss names we excluded.1,2

Limits of this data
- Small sample: only 92 tests. Michigan (64), Nevada (16), California (5) and Hawaii (3) supply most of them, and they date from 2020 to 2024; Oregon and Rhode Island results carry no product names and could not be matched.
- Some labs report higher THC than others, so we publish medians and middle ranges rather than maxima. No single lab accounts for more than 21.3% of these tests (12 labs in total).
- Individual terpene values come from only 20 tests, in Nevada (16) and California (4), and the results from Michigan, Hawaii, Washington and Colorado report none. Treat the profile as indicative.
- We matched names strictly: 2,379 results with longer names are excluded and counted, led by “Guava IX” (472), “Guava Lava” (96) and “Guava Jelly” (73), and duplicate certificates are removed. Numbers count as lot codes, so labels such as Guava #2 stay in.
