Energizing or sleepy?

Mostly energizing, for the Guava most databases describe. Leafly rates it mostly energizing and AllBud pitches it to anyone after “a hint of energy and motivation”, while Weedmaps describes a more relaxed finish.1,2,3 The related names split: Leafly users call Stardawg Guava uplifted, creative and focused, but Leafly rates Guava IX, a Stardawg × Guava cross, mostly calming, on a single rating.4,5 Of the crosses, Leafly rates Grandi Guava mostly energizing and Guava Runtz mostly calming (see genetics).7,8

Why two batches can feel different

Potency alone varies: in these 92 tests (a small sample), one in ten batches came in under 18.53% THC and one in ten above 26.73%.9 And the name covers different plants, a Gelato phenotype, a Stardawg phenotype, Stardawg × Afghani seeds and crosses such as Guava IX, which is why Weedmaps says effects can shift depending on which Guava is in the jar.1,3,5,10,11
